Child Wise is one of Australia’s leading not-for-profit child abuse prevention organisations. We work to build awareness, deliver education, and provide the tools to empower individuals and communities around Australia so they can actively prevent child abuse and exploitation. Child Wise is dedicated to protecting children from abuse.
Influence Global's Managing Director, Ruth Dearnley worked with Child Wise throughout the year to help implement their Child Safe Organisations Program. This included advising numerous public sector and not-for-profit clients on the development and implementation of strategic, operational and cultural reforms needed in order adhere to the Victorian Child Safe Standards. Emerge Australia is a national organisation supporting people living with ME/CFS and advocating for further research and awareness. Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) is a severe, complex, acquired illness. Emerge’s activities include peer support groups, Health Promotion activities, awareness and fundraising activities, advocacy, seminars and our dedicated Member information service.

EvalYouth exists to promote young and emerging evaluators, including young women, to become competent, experienced and well-networked professionals who contribute to evaluation capacity at national, regional and international levels, and the inclusion of youth and young people, including young women, in evaluations conducted at the national, regional and international levels.
Influence Global worked with the leadership team to design and develop a youth mentoring programme, to support upcoming evaluators mature into skilled and dependable professionals that can confidently take up evaluation roles in their communities and countries. Through the guided development of a professional plan, with clear milestones, the programme enables mentees to develop the skills they need in order to success in their preferred evaluation field. Good on You and Brand Ethics
Projects of Ethical Consumers Australia, Brand Ethics has developed a credible, useable and used rating system to enable greater transparency of brands’ ethical performance. Through these actions Brand Ethics aims to reduce/eliminate environmental impacts and human rights and animal abuses in the development of consumer goods. Good On You is the public-facing ethical shopping app designed to make it easy for anyone, anywhere, to shop their values. Good On You ethical brand ratings give you the power to make that reflect your commitment to doing better by people, the planet and animals.
Throughout the year Ruth Dearnley has advised Good On You and Brand Ethics on the development of their labour rights brand ratings and methodology. If successful, the donation will be made via Ethical Consumers Australia. Vote for Brand Ethics and Good On You.
Global Parliamentarians Forum for Evaluation
The Global Parliamentarians Forum for Evaluation (GPFE) is a collaborative movement of international parliamentarians, committed to improving policy outcomes and social accountability, that advocates for evidence-based decision making. Through capacity building, knowledge sharing, and advocacy, the GPFE supports and empowers parliamentarians to deliver evidence-based policy that helps achieve good governance, sustainable development and social equity.
This year Influence Global designed and developed evidence-based advocacy and communications materials to support GPFE members in raising awareness and increasing parliamentary engagement on evaluation. Influence Global also provided recommendations for the future strategic development of the GPFEs advocacy work. GPFE has nominated the Australasian Evaluation Society to receive the donation on their behalf. Vote for the GPFE.
Oaktree is young people leading a movement to end poverty. Oaktree believes change starts with a simple belief – that poverty and injustice is unacceptable. Beliefs turn into action, and enough informed action will end extreme poverty in our lifetime. Oaktree is Australia’s largest youth-run organisation with over 250,000 members.
The Oaktree Executive Team engaged Influence Global to advise on the redevelopment of the organisational Theory of Change. Through workshops, consultation and advisory support, Oaktree have been able to apply a measured, Theory of Change to ensure that they more efficiently and effectively can meet their desired outcomes. Influence Global operates on the land of the Wurundjeri people if the Kulin nation. We stand on this land as beneficiaries of a largely uncompensated and unreconciled dispossession which began over 200 years ago and continues today. We know that within acknowledgement there should be action, and we are committed to exploring ways in which we can help overcome racism and injustice, and achieve equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Stop The Traffik Australia
Stop The Traffik Australia is a coalition of non-government, community and other organisations working together against trafficking in Australia and around the world. Stop The Traffik in Australia exists to prevent the physical, emotional and sexual abuse and harm done by human trafficking.
Influence Global consulted on the development of Stop The Traffik's A Matter of Taste report, providing technical insight into forced, child and trafficked labour, and best practice approaches to preventing exploitation in supply chains. Vote for Stop The Traffik Australia.

Our work aims to help all children — especially the most disadvantaged and marginalised— to lead safe, healthy lives and realise their full potential.
UNICEF, on behalf of the Global Breastfeeding Collective, engaged Influence Global's Managing Director, Ruth Dearnley to design a measurable Theory of Change and conduct evaluability assessment of the breastfeeding advocacy coalition. Through qualitative interviewing and surveying of the 22 international member organisations, a Theory of Change narrative and visualisation was developed using Influence Global’s bespoke framework for measuring advocacy. UNICEF has nominated UNICEF Australia to receive the donation on their behalf. Vote for UNICEF.
